Southeastern Seniors Golf Association

- "Yours For Enjoyable Golf"

About

The Southeastern Seniors Golf Association (SSGA) was formed and exists for the purpose of promoting and conserving the best interest and true spirit of the game of golf as embodied in it’s ancient and honorable traditions. Our objective is to give you a series of well organized golf events and tournaments to be enjoyed with others that seek the same goal.

The SSGA was founded by PGA professional – Fred McDuffie in 1976 and with the over-whelming success of the association with over 1,100 individual members, we host 110 to 120 one, two and three day events each year. Fred passed away in May 2001 and his philosophy was to have fun through golf and it lives on today with the help of family and friends.

Eligibility to join is any golfer male or female 50 years of age or older (spouses under 50 are welcome), dues are $35 annually and are renewable one year from date of application. (Dues include man and wife.)

To register for any event call the “SSGA Hot-Line” toll free at 1-334-714-7546 and leave your name and the tournament information. Entry fees will include green fee, cart fee and prizes – pairings are done by handicaps, if you want to play with a particular person or group, give this information when you call. Handicaps are computed by SSGA event scores only after you have played in three or more events.

We hope this gives you some insight into our organization and if you have not joined will consider membership. If you have a friend who would be interested, please pass on a copy of this information sheet. Call the SSGA Hot-Line today and ask for a membership application 1-334-714-7546.
